On Tuesday, March 6th I was happily painting my room, listening to the Mary Poppins soundtrack when I got the magical email notifying me that I had been offered a position with the Disney College Program for Fall of 2018. I was thrilled, to say the least, and immediately called my mom, who I knew would join me in my excitement. She stayed on the phone with me as I logged into my Disney portal and searched for the document which contained my role assignment. Merchandise! I was given one of my top 3 roles, so I was incredibly happy. I immediately accepted the offer and paid my program fees in order to solidify the fact that I was officially in! Then came the flood of calls, texts, and Facebook comments from family and friends all sharing in my excitement!! My friends and family have always been my biggest supporters when it has come to following my heart, so I truly have to thank them for keeping me motivated and reminding me to have faith! Many people know how near and dear Disney is to my heart, and partaking in the program has been a lifelong dream of mine, so I am incredibly blessed to be able to start on my journey!
